Youthful Yoga Instructor at 72 Years Old
Janice Lennard is 72 years old with a body of a person much younger! She has been teaching yoga, Pilates and ballet for decades. Recently Janice was interviewed by Lisa Remillard of KUSI Good Morning San Diego. Lisa herself seemed quite impressed with a stretching move Janice shows her that Lisa insists she, “…could never even do that!” Janice Lennard also demonstrates some easier moves such as simply taking in a deep breathe while extending her arms over head. In addition, she explains how using props such as a yoga block can certainly help people ease in to a pose with the help of a few extra inches propped up from the floor. The most important thing is that people remember to move their bodies with some type (any type) of exercise every day in order to maintain the body’s youthful abilities.

Janice, this amazing youthful yoga instructor, reminds us that eating breakfast and eating the right foods throughout the day is imperative for a long, healthy and age-defying lifestyle. Observing Janice and her toned arms or as Lisa called them her, “guns” it is refreshing to see how following a life-long practice of yoga and other stretching practices can truly help to preserve one’s youthful appearance.
